We are seeking a skilled full-stack developer to build a secure, HIPAA-compliant patient portal for a mid-sized specialist clinic. The primary goal is to allow patients to view lab results, schedule appointments, and message providers securely. Key technical requirements include a robust authentication system (2FA), encrypted data storage, and integration with our existing HL7/FHIR-based EHR system. The interface must be responsive, accessible (WCAG 2.1 compliance), and user-friendly for elderly patients. Deliverables include the source code, API documentation, a security audit report, and deployment to a secure cloud environment (AWS/Azure). We expect the initial MVP to be completed within 6-8 weeks, followed by a brief period for user acceptance testing and bug fixes. Experience with healthcare data privacy standards and React/Node.js or similar stacks is highly preferred.
