Stripe and PayPal Integration for React/Node.js E-commerce Platform

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to integrate a robust payment processing system into our existing custom-built e-commerce platform. The project requires the implementation of Stripe (for credit card processing and Apple/Google Pay) and PayPal Checkout. Key deliverables include a secure multi-step checkout flow, server-side webhook handling for order status updates, and a customer billing portal for subscription management. You will be responsible for ensuring PCI compliance by using hosted fields or elements, implementing 3D Secure authentication, and thorough error handling for declined transactions. The backend is built on Node.js/Express with a React frontend. We expect this integration to be completed, tested on sandbox environments, and deployed to production within three weeks. Prior experience with Stripe API and PayPal REST SDK is mandatory. Please include examples of previous payment integrations in your proposal.
