We are seeking a skilled full-stack developer to build a secure, HIPAA-compliant patient portal for a mid-sized specialist clinic. The primary goal is to allow patients to view their lab results, schedule appointments, and communicate securely with providers via an encrypted messaging system. Key requirements include a robust authentication system (2FA), a responsive dashboard for both mobile and desktop, and a secure document upload feature for insurance cards. You will be responsible for building the frontend in React, the backend API using Node.js, and ensuring all data at rest and in transit is encrypted. The project also involves integrating with our existing SQL-based EHR system to sync patient records. Deliverables include the source code, technical documentation, and a security audit report. We expect a functional MVP within 6 weeks, followed by a week of UAT and final deployment to our secure cloud environment.
