We are seeking an experienced full-stack developer to build a secure, HIPAA-compliant patient portal for our outpatient medical clinic. The web portal will allow patients to view lab test results, schedule appointments, securely message healthcare providers, and manage billing profiles. Key deliverables include a responsive web frontend in React, a secure RESTful API built with Node.js and Express, and an encrypted PostgreSQL database. The developer must implement role-based access control, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and comprehensive audit logging. Seamless integration with our existing EHR system via FHIR/HL7 APIs is required for automated medical record synchronization. The target timeline is 6 to 8 weeks, divided into milestones: MVP prototype, EHR API integration, security/compliance testing, and production deployment. Proven experience building healthcare applications and adherence to strict data privacy regulations are required.
