Fix Go/Redis GPS telemetry pipeline + live leaflet map for delivery fleet
Category: Web Development
Budget: 1870–1870 USDC
We run a regional dental supply courier service (45 vans). Our telemetry pipeline uses MQTT into a Go worker that buffers coordinates into Redis Streams, but our customer-facing tracking view (Fastify + Leaflet) drops SSE connections and renders erratic polyline jumps whenever drivers hit underground parking ramps.
We need an engineer to refactor the telemetry ingestion layer and fix client-side interpolation before our hospital network SLA audit on November 14th.
Deliverables:
- Refactor Go ingestion worker to handle out-of-order GPS packets and apply basic Kalman filtering before writing to Redis.
- Fix Fastify SSE endpoint so browser reconnects reliably replay buffered breadcrumbs without duplicating marker state.
- Update the Leaflet frontend component with smooth marker interpolation and map-matching against local OSRM.
- Add integration test suite simulating 100 concurrent vehicle streams under intermittent 10-15% packet drop.
Stack: Go 1.22, Redis 7 (Streams), Fastify, TypeScript, Leaflet, PostgreSQL/PostGIS. Repos and staging environment ready.
