We are seeking a senior full-stack developer to build a secure, HIPAA-compliant patient portal for our specialty clinic. The portal must allow patients to view their upcoming appointments, download lab results (PDF), and securely message their healthcare providers. Key technical requirements include a robust authentication system (MFA), end-to-end encryption for messaging, and a mobile-responsive dashboard. You will be responsible for the front-end interface, the back-end API integration with our existing PostgreSQL database, and ensuring all data handling meets healthcare privacy standards. Deliverables include the source code, API documentation, and a brief deployment guide. We expect the MVP to be completed within 6 weeks, with a primary focus on security and user accessibility for elderly patients. Experience with FHIR or HL7 standards is a significant plus.
