Fix livekit egress recording & encrypted s3 upload for wound care consult app

We run a remote wound care follow-up service for post-op surgical patients in rural clinics. Our web app is built on Next.js 14 (App Router), Supabase (Postgres + Auth), and LiveKit Cloud for WebRTC video visits.
We need an engineer to wire up automated server-side composite recording via LiveKit Egress and route the MP4 output directly to our AWS S3 bucket with KMS server-side encryption. Right now, room metadata writes to Supabase on disconnect, but the egress webhook fails silently on multi-party room closes, and uploads stall if a provider drops unexpectedly.
Our state Medicaid pilot starts June 15th, so we need this completed and tested by June 5th for compliance sign-off.
Deliverables:
- LiveKit Egress webhook handler in Next.js Route Handlers with full payload signature validation
- Reliable composite MP4 recording pipeline exporting directly to encrypted S3
- Database updates writing final S3 object keys and duration metadata to our consult_recordings table
- Automated retry handling for dropped egress tasks
Code must include TypeScript types and pass our existing Playwright test suite.
