Stripe and PayPal API Integration for Subscription-Based SaaS Platform

We are seeking a seasoned backend developer to integrate a robust payment gateway system into our existing Node.js/React SaaS platform. The project involves setting up Stripe and PayPal to handle both one-time payments and recurring monthly subscriptions. Key deliverables include: implementing secure webhooks to handle billing events, creating a customer billing portal for plan upgrades/cancellations, and ensuring PCI compliance through tokenization. You will also be responsible for integrating a discount code system and generating automated PDF invoices post-purchase. The codebase is hosted on GitHub, and we use a PostgreSQL database. We expect the integration to be fully tested in a sandbox environment before migration. The project timeline is three weeks, including a one-week testing phase. Candidates must have prior experience with Stripe Billing and PayPal Checkout SDKs. Strong communication skills are essential as you will collaborate briefly with our frontend lead to ensure a seamless UI/UX for the checkout flow.
