Hi everyone, I run a boutique brokerage in Philadelphia where we match residential solar panel installers with commercial energy aggregators to trade SREC credits (solar renewable energy certificates). Right now we have about 75 installers submitting their monthly generated megawatt hours and expecting live bids from utility buyers.

For the past eight months we've been running this entire exchange out of a giant Google Sheet connected to Telegram via Zapier webhooks, but it is completely breaking down. Last Tuesday two buyers clicked buy on the exact same batch of 450 credits at the exact same second because the spreadsheet didn't refresh the cache in real time, which cost us almost $3,200 out of our own pocket to settle.

I hired a freelancer last month to build us a real browser-based trading screen with separate buyer/seller logins and an automatic order book, but he disappeared after building some static React screens that aren't actually wired up to the database cloud. We need someone who knows how to connect the front end to our Postgres SQL server and set up live web socket feeds so prices update instantly and orders lock properly without double-selling.

We are under a strict deadline because the regional PJM compliance window opens on November 18th and our corporate buyers refuse to do deals over Telegram anymore. We already have the Figma layouts and the database tables drafted, we just need someone competent to make the matching logic actually execute.
